It was Joe Wright's 2005 adaptation of Jane Austen's celebrated novel, Pride and Prejudice, that immortalised Chatsworth on screen as 'Pemberley' (aka Mr Darcy's House).
To celebrate, our outdoor screening of the popular adaptation will be staged on the South Lawn with Chatsworth's famous façade as your backdrop.
The South Lawn is not usually open to visitors, but will be familiar to fans of this Austen adaptation as it's Lizzie's first view of Pemberley (and, yes, those are the steps Lizzie runs down when Darcy discovers her in his house!).
