Derby (St Alkmund’s Well):

• The Blessing is on May 25, 1:00p.m. (St Alkmund’s Well) starting in St Mary’s Bridge Chapel; (Arboretum) in the Community Garden
• Note: Other Well Dressings in Derby take place on different dates.

Derby (Market Hall):

• On June 6, 2026
• Note: The date shown is that of the 50:50 event celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Derby-Osnabrück twinning. This is expected include one or two Well Dressings.
  Other Well Dressings in Derby take place on different dates.

Derby (Arboretum):

• Probable event from June 28, 2026
• The Blessing is on June 28, 2:00p.m. (St Alkmund’s Well) starting in St Mary’s Bridge Chapel; (Arboretum) in the Community Garden
• Wells in the Making: June 22 to 26, during the day (Arboretum dressings) in Grove Lodge at the Derby Arboretum
• Note: An event is being planned for these dates, but at the time of writing is awaiting final confirmation.
  Other Well Dressings in Derby take place on different dates.

Well Dressings

A number of dressings on two separate occasions:

• 1. St Alkmund’s Well at the junction of Bath Street and Well Street
• 2. Arboretum Well Dressings up to five dressings, initially in the Community Garden near Loudon Lodge in Derby Arboretum. May be moved to the Orangery depending on weather conditions. Only accessible when the Arboretum is open (8:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. in June and July)

  Derby is located on the A6, A38 and A52 roads, close to the A50 and M1.
