Easter Egg-stravaganza Returns to Matlock Farm Park

Visitors can enjoy a full programme of seasonal fun alongside the farm park’s animal encounters and play facilities. Highlights include the Sheep Maternity Ward and Nursery, where guests can meet new lambs and learn about lambing care, plus daily Easter treasure trails with mini prizes, sheep and ferret races, and reptile encounters.

The Easter Bunny will be making appearances from Good Friday to Easter Monday to join in with Easter Egg Hunts. Will you be lucky enough to find the ‘Golden’ egg!?

Afternoon Tea with the Easter Bunny will be served on Saturday 4th April - a springtime celebration packed with family fun! Join in with a charming carrot hunt with the Easter Bunny, followed by Easter tree decorating, an afternoon tea full of treats and a private small animal petting session too! Pre-booking essential.

Special event days add eggs-tra excitement. Good Friday brings Jurassic Fun Day with Bluey the Raptor and dinosaur-themed activities. On Easter Sunday, guests can enjoy spectacular performances of The Big Bubbleman, creating giant bubbles and interactive bubble-making fun. Easter Monday features a high-energy K-Pop Superfan Day with live tribute performances, dance activities, and games for all ages.

The farm park offers a wide range of family entertainment, including wallaby encounters, pony rides, small animal petting, indoor Rainforest Play Barn access, and the UK’s largest jumping pillow.
