    Eccles Pike Baby Carrying Walk

A 5.5km baby carrying walk from Buxworth up to Eccles Pike Summit

    About

    23rd September 2025 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Blaze Trails is the UK’s parent and baby walking community, support parents to feel confident outdoors its free to join - with 80+ free parent and baby walking groups around the country.

Starting from Bugsworth basin we will head along the footpath before ascending up to the summit of Eccles Pike with views across the High Peak. The descent from the summit is quite steep and in bad weather can be slippery but we will take it slow and steady before continuing across farm land and back to the cars. There are some stiles on this walk which can be avoided but would mean walking down the road.

As we work with babies and children all walk details are on a secure network for safeguarding puposes. For this reason you will need to sign up to the free Blaze Trails community on the mighty networks app. Once signed up you can access free walks with any of our groups all over the UK.

This is a Free walk provided by Blaze Trails CIC however if you would like to make a donation to cover the running costs please do so on the following link https://blaze-trails.raisely.com/
