    About

    19th September 2026 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Derbyshire Heritage Walks is offering a number of guided walks as part of the 2026 High Peak Walking Festival. Some are suitable for those new to walking, while others are for the more experienced walker. All are led by a guide with over 35 years experience of leading walks in and around the area. Many are suitable for dogs with well-behaved owners on leads, and some are accessible by public transport.

Duration of the walks is from 4 to 6 hours, with distances between 6 and 10 miles. All involve some hills and require at least an average level of fitness, and unfortunately none are suitable for those of limited mobility due to the terrain and presence of stiles.

For more Derby Heritage Walks visit their website derbysheritagewalks.com

All walks start at 10:00am, and cost £10.00 per person (ages 16+). Discounted group and family rates are available - please e-mail us for details and to book.
