May Half Term at Hardwick
Come out to play in May! From maypole merriment to careful crafting, there’s something new to explore at Hardwick this half term!

The weather’s getting warmer and the flowers are out in bloom! Let the kids race around the May activity stations and discover Elizabethan May traditions weaved in with themes of nature. Expect to decorate the May Queen’s crown and un-jumble the May masterpiece picture as well as putting on a royal spectacle show!
Additional events happening during half term:
• Derbyshire Makes Makory Van will be at Hardwick on Saturday 23 May, The Makory is Derbyshire’s travelling makerspace and mini-gallery that brings creative adventures directly to communities across the county.
• Our ‘Discover With Us’ team will be back in the East Stables on Tuesday 26 and Thursday 28 May to craft a dandelion stem friendship bracelet and some origami.
• Visit on Wednesday 27 May to meet our Mason's team as they showcase the specialist crafts they undertake at properties around the region.
• Women Who Make Market is coming to Hardwick on Saturday 30 May.
