Holymoorside Gala

The Holymoorside Gala returns for the first time in 35 years, bringing a full day of family entertainment, community spirit and traditional village fun to the heart of the village.

The day begins at 11am with a colourful parade through Holymoorside, led by the Bolsover Samba Band and featuring vintage vehicles, decorated floats, local groups and community organisations.

The Village Hall will host a special exhibition celebrating Holymoorside Galas of the past, featuring photographs and memorabilia from previous events, alongside refreshments and homemade cakes.

With entertainment throughout the day, activities for all ages and a strong focus on celebrating village life, the Holymoorside Gala promises to be one of the biggest community events of the summer.
