Internationally famous local violinist, Adam Summerhayes and his trio bring us a showcase of masterpieces from the past as well as one of Adam's own compositions, to be released on CD this Autumn. The programme comprises works by Ernő Dohnányi (Serenade in C major), Adam Summerhayes (String trio no. 1: Unfounded) and Ludwig van Beethoven (String trio in G, opus 9, no 1). Described as "To die for" (The Strad), "Utterly compelling" (BBC Music Magazine" and "Intoxicating ... virtuoso fiddle playing" (The Times) we're in for a treat.
