Tom's Barn and Douglas' Barn

Tom's and Douglas Barns are our romantic cottages for two, in Parwich, a pretty rural village with pub in a beautiful part of the Peak District. Warm and welcoming, their luxurious contemporary comfort is a far cry from the 18th century cow sheds they were. We are on the edge of the village, next to the open countryside with lots of walks to suit everyone from the door. It is peaceful and quiet and yet we are within easy reach of pubs and restaurants. The Sycamore Inn is a short walk from the Barns. The pub has a small well stocked shop and meals are available lunchtime and evenings at the pub.

The Barns are near to Tissington and High Peak Trails which are relatively flat for walking and cycling. Bikes can be hired on the trail including electric bikes for those who want a more leisurely pace.

There are plenty of shops, selling local produce, in Bakewell and Matlock as well as lots of attractions to visit. Chatsworh is a must to visit as is Haddon Hall and the National Trust property at Ilam. Buxton has much to see, plenty of places to eat and an Opera House that normally has a variety of performaces.

As with everything at the moment you will need to check opening times and whether booking is required almost everywhere.

We have put measures in place to keep guests safe while they are here. We have been awarded the We'er Good To Go and he AA Covid -19 confident Certificate.

Tom's Barn welcomes dogs, has a log burner, and a two seater whirlpool bath. Douglas's Barn has a spacious bedroom and a power shower over the whirlpool bath.

We live next door if you need us and out of the way when you don't!
