Sustainable Intaglio Printmaking Workshop

Learn and explore the intaglio printing process in this artist-led workshop.

About

31st January 2026 10:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Design and prepare an intaglio printing plate using recycled Tetra Pak cartons in this artist-led introductory workshop.

With guidance from your expert tutor, you'll learn intaglio inking and printing techniques, working with the etching press to create a series of unique prints.

You will also experiment with alternative tools such as craft presses, so you can continue printing intaglio at home in a practical way.

We will provide a range of inspirational images to work from, but you are welcome to bring your own ideas and images (A5 size maximum).

This workshop is led by Diane Cooper, a Sheffield based artist and teacher with more than 20 years experience. All materials will be provided.

£120 per person
