The Queen's Reading Room Cinema: Pride and Prejudice at Chatsworth

A celebratory open-air screening of the 2005 adaptation of 'Pride and Prejudice' for The Queen's Reading Room Festival.

About

19th September 2025 7:00 pm - 9:15 pm

It's 250 years since the birth of beloved author Jane Austen, and 20 years since Chatsworth was immortalised on screen as Pemberley (aka Mr Darcy's House) in Director Joe Wright's enchanting retelling of 'Pride and Prejudice'.

These celebratory screenings will mark the start of this year's Queen's Reading Room Festival, and will be staged on the Salisbury Lawn with Chatsworth's Rose Garden and the Old Duke's Glasshouse as your backdrop.
