    Wadshelf Well Dressing

    This ancient custom only takes place in Derbyshire, and is the art of decorating springs and wells with pictures made from natural materials

    6th July 2024 - 13th July 2024 9:00 am - 9:00 pm

    Location: Main Road Wadshelf, next to the swing park. Parking is available opposite the well on Bradshaw Lane.

    Blessing of the Well: Saturday 6th July at 2pm. Refreshments will be available in the Village Hall after the blessing.

    Well Dressing Viewing: Sunday 7th July to Saturday 13th July. Refreshements will be available in the Village Hall from 10.30am until 3pm throughout.

    The Well Dressing will be created in Wadshelf Village Hall, Main Road, Wadshelf from Monday 1st July until Friday 5th July. We will definitely be there from 10 am until 4 pm and probably some evenings as well. All are welcome If you are interested in seeing how its done please drop in. You may even want to have a go!
