World Toe Wrestling Championship
Get ready for a toe-tally thrilling event! The World Toe Wrestling Championship is back at Ashbourne
About
18th July 2026
This annual showdown invites both spectators and competitors to join in and "have a toe".
The World Toe Wrestling Championship returns this July for the biggest, boldest celebration of the sport yet - marking 52 years of toe wrestling history since it all began. Expect elite wrestlers from near and far battling for glory on the Toedium, proper prize money on the line, and a crowd-fuelled atmosphere that’s equal parts competitive spectacle and joyful, gloriously weird festival. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or discovering toe wrestling for the first time, this is the one event where legends are made and the world’s quirkiest sport proves why it deserves the spotlight.
