Brosterfield Farm is located in the heart of the Peak District, in a little village called Foolow. With the perfect location close to Eyam, Chatsworth and Bakewell.

At Brosterfield Farm we are very lucky to have a peaceful location, surrounded by wildlife. We have on site two Shepard huts with their own private hot tub and terrace area. Three wood cabins nestled in the farm meadows surrounded by field views, two large cottages with there own private gardens, Suite and Brewers are two smaller studios and Brosterfield Cottage as an original old sleeps two cottage. Each property is surrounded with privacy for the perfect peaceful getaway!
Our site is dog friendly, with endless walks from the front door or to explore the local villages with a short drive.
Brosterfield Farm is the ideal location for a large family getaway or a quiet stay as a couple.
As a large site we also can provide all properties to cater along side a wedding, we have the perfect setting as a wedding venue and over the years hosted some very special occasions of all sizes.
Surrounded by many different walks from the door and two local pubs you can enjoy the quiet country side and a cosy stay at Brosterfield Farm in an idyllic location.
Berties and Digbys Shepards Huts - Dog Friendly - with private terraced area and wood fired hot tub
A familiar sight throughout rural England during the 1800’s shepherds huts were originally designed as accommodation during the lambing season, offering shelter for both the shepherd and newborn lambs.
Been spacious, airy and bright bespoke handcrafted shepherd’s hut designed and built to a high standard benefitting from modern day comforts including a warming wood burning stove, en-suite bathroom with fluffy towels, handmade fully equipped kitchen with full size hob, patio furniture where you can read the paper or your favourite book and soak into the wood fired hot tub. The huts offer everything you should need, a rural retreat for all seasons.
Tucked away down a long private road in the heart of the Peak District - Foolow, you can enjoy a tranquil position with stunning views across and down the Hope Valley.
Whether you are looking for peace and quiet, a romantic retreat, or a base to explore the local area it is important to have the perfect place to stay. Brosterfield Farm is perfectly sited to explore the local area offering many footpaths straight from the door with two local pubs serving local fresh home cooked food.
Both huts have been well thought out and planning has gone into the design to ensure a truly special holiday experience. Whilst all of us need from time to time to escape the hustle and bustle of day to day life it’s still nice to have certain home comforts to hand. No stumbling on a dark wet night to find the toilet, have a shower or to cook your evening meal. It is all inside for you to enjoy and experience.
Robins Nest, Hare’s Retreat, Meadow View - Wooden Cabins nestled in Brosterfield Farm Meadows. Dog Friendly.
Brosterfield Farm Cabins are in a perfect location to get away from hectic life, nestled in the trees looking over the fields. Equipped for a cosy night in or a walk to the pub for local home cooked food then to return where you can soak away the stress in the Robin's Nest wood fired Hot tub, enjoy a class of wine whilst watching the sun go down.
All the cabins have a cosy King bed, TV, WiFi, kitchen area and walk in shower.
Robins Nest cabin is located at the top of the meadows with a wood fired hot tub. Hare’s Retreat and Meadow View are perfect if you aren’t wanting a stay without hot tub. You can still book Robin’s Nest without the hot tub. (Hot tub is an additional charge).
Old Diary and Shippon Cottage - both 4 beds, sleeps 6, Dog friendly.
Both offering cosy accommodation for up to six guests and boasts original character. A sociable, open-plan space on the ground floor featuring the living room with comfortable seating, large dining table and a fully equipped kitchen.
On the first floor is the master bedroom with dressing room and en-suite, a further double bedroom and a twin room, plus a family bathroom. Outside there is ample parking for the guests and a private front garden which is lawned, with cushioned outdoor furniture and a barbecue to enjoy the summer nights or snuggle down to a log burner throughout the winter months.
Brosterfield Farm is located within a great area, local to many walks and tourist attractions.
Visit the market town of Bakewell, famous for its puddings, and if you go to the museum in town you can learn about the Bakewell elephant!
Buxton is also a popular town, better known for its spa and opera house.
The stately home of Chatsworth House, built in the 17th and early 18th centuries has been home to the Devonshire family for over 400 years. In addition to the house, there are 105 acres of gardens to explore and an amazing cascade waterfall and fountain.
Haddon Hall is like stepping back in time with over 900 years of history. It has been the backdrop for several TV programmes and films including Jane Eyre, The Princess Bride, Elizabeth, Pride and Prejudice and The Other Boleyn Girl.
The Peak District has more to offer including the show caves at Castleton and the Blue John mines. Matlock and Matlock Bath are also worth a visit as is a trip on the cable car to the Heights of Abraham.

Brewers - Sleeps 2, Dog friendly.
Brewers is one of the favourites as a cosy studio, open plan kitchen and living area, large walk in shower, super comfy king bed. We are so lucky directly from the farm we are spoilt with walks, pubs and a short drive to many historic villages. We are dog friendly where you can all enjoy every moment at Brosterfield Farm.
Brosterfield Suite - Sleeps 2, Dog friendly.
The Suite is situated on the end of the main farmhouse where you can walk into a cosy, clean king bed and on suite shower with a kitchenette, you have to walk up nine stone steps into the main Suite door, as you walk in you will open the door to the kitchen which is provided with everything you need for a short stay.
It’s cosy, clean and comfortable!
Brosterfield Cottage - Sleeps 2, Dog friendly.
Newly refurbished Brosterfield Cottage stands alone, still in the grounds of Brosterfield Farm. It over looks the fields across the front of the farm. Its clean, open and light setting gives it a very comfortable feel with an open plan kitchen / dining / lounge area means you can relax and enjoy every part of the cottage. Upstairs is a large king bed, whilst sat in bed you can look out across the fields and make the most of the peace and quiet whilst listening to the birds sing.
Brosterfield cottage has everything you need from a short break to a long break, we have covered everything to make it feel like home from home.
