Curbar Edge is a popular Peak District beauty spot that sits above the village of Curbar and offers some of the best views in the National Park. Best known for its striking rock formations, Curbar Edge is an easy-to-access beauty spot with a relatively easy-going footpath that leads from Curbar Gap car park to a beautiful viewpoint.

Curbar Edge can be accessed from Curbar Gap pay and display car park (S32 3YR).

A popular place for walkers and climbers, Curbar Edge offers stunning views across the Derwent Valley and beyond. It overlooks Chatsworth and the nearby villages of Curbar, Froggatt and Calver. There are numerous popular climbing routes and places to enjoy walks nearby, which run along the top of the edge before descending gently on to moorland trails and shady woodland paths alongside the River Derwent.
