A wonderful place to discover spectacular views of the Peak District, ancient woods, meadows, parkland and heather moorland. Explore the unusual sites of Longshaw's past, from millstone quarries to packhorse routes. The visitor centre, housed in the Shooting Lodge, is the ideal starting point for Longshaw and the Peak District. Note: Moorland Discovery Centre only open to the public for certain events and during school holidays. The Longshaw Estate also has a tea room, providing the perfect post-walk treat and cup of tea. Enjoy delicious home-baked local food, using produce from the estate and the Peak District. Daily specials created using produce from their new kitchen garden. All food comes with wonderful views.
