We are proud to invite you to Oaker Farm. The 3 cottages have been lovingly converted from farm barns and a dairy, we also have a bespoke handcrafted luxury shepherd's hut. Oaker Farm nestles at the foot of Lose Hill amidst our own well maintained farmland. All our accommodation offer exceptional views across stunning countryside, possibly the most idyllic and peacefully sited holiday accommodation in the Peak District, the perfect place to experience the ever changing landscape. We enjoy a delightfully tranquil and stunning position which is home to abundant wildlife, plants and birds, the perfect place to unwind having left the stresses of everyday life behind. The area offers a great deal to see and do; climbing, horse riding, sight seeing, bird watching, and excellent walking with many routes straight from the door.

The accommodation at Oaker Farm is owner managed to a very high standard guaranteeing comfort and cleanliness. We have spent many years making Oaker Farm into what we feel is a little haven, and we know that you will enjoy it as much as we do. Losehill Cottage - Sleeps 4 + cot

A place where you can really refresh, relax and unwind. Families and couples love it here.

TWO BEDROOMED cosy comfortable barn conversion with stunning views and 2 patio sitting out areas.

Enter to a well equipped kitchen with just about everything any cook could wish for, dining area from where you can sit and enjoy the view toward Win Hill; lounge with feature wood burning stove that creates a cosy atmosphere on a chilly evening; hallway, bathroom/wc (shower over bath), twin bedded room and on the first floor a spacious double bedded room.

Winhill Cottage - Sleeps 4 + cot

Ideal cottage for a romantic break or family holiday, this cottage commands spectacular views.

TWO BEDROOMED tastefully furnished barn conversion benefitting from its peaceful rural position, an ideal place to unwind and relax.

All on a single level entering into the hall; light and airy well equipped kitchen/ dining area/ lounge with a warming feature wood burning stove and fabulous views down the Hope Valley, double bedroom, twin bedded bedroom, bathroom/wc (shower over bath), own patio area.

The Old Dairy Cottage - Sleeps 2

Cosy retreat – perfect after a day on the hills, or visiting the Peak Districts many attractions.

ONE BEDROOMED cosy cottage comfortably furnished offering superb views over the surrounding countryside. The cottage annexes to our farmhouse and benefits from its own private garden and patio area.

Lobby, hallway, bathroom/wc (shower over bath), w.c., well equipped fitted kitchen with dining table and door so you can step out onto the patio with well maintained mature garden, bedroom with double bed from where you can watch the birdlife on the feeder outside the window, and upstairs is the spacious light and airy lounge affording the panoramic views down the Edale valley.

Haddy’s Hut – Sleeps 2

A magical glamping Peak District retreat for a romantic break

A familiar sight throughout rural England during the 1800’s shepherds huts were originally designed as accommodation during the lambing season, offering shelter for both the shepherd and newborn lambs.

Haddy’s Hut is a spacious, airy and bright bespoke handcrafted shepherd’s hut designed and built to a high standard benefitting from modern day comforts including a warming wood burning stove, en-suite bathroom with fluffy towels, handmade fully equipped kitchen with full size hob and a single oven with grill, comfy patio furniture where you can read the paper or your favourite book and if it becomes chilly light the fire pit. To bring it all up to the 21st century there is WiFi, a combined TV and DVD player, and under floor heating. The hut offers everything you should need, a rural retreat for all seasons.

Tucked away at the end of our no-through road in the heart of the Peak District the hut enjoys a tranquil position with stunning views across and down the Hope Valley.

Whether you are looking for peace and quiet, a romantic retreat, or a base to explore the local area it is important to have the perfect place to stay. Oaker Farm is perfectly sited to explore the local area offering many footpaths straight from the door. Good local bus routes and a train station can be found in the village.

Haddy’s Hut is no ordinary hut, much thought and planning has gone into the design to ensure a truly special holiday experience. Whilst all of us need from time to time to escape the hustle and bustle of day to day life its still nice to have certain home comforts to hand. No stumbling on a dark wet night to find the toilet, have a shower or to cook your evening meal. It is all inside this hut.

All guests have access to the communal laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Also in the laundry room you will find games, books and a small freezer.
