Enjoy this hop on, hop off tour of the Peak District onboard an open top bus. The Peak Sightseer open top buses start on 24 May, running daily until 21 September 2025, then weekends only from 27 September - until 25 October 2025.
With the choice of 2 routes you can visit some of the Peak District’s most popular destinations with stops including Castleton and the Caverns, Chatsworth, Bakewell, Bamford, Padley Gorge, Hathersage, the Monsal Trail and more.
A day ticket costs £12, giving you unlimited travel for the day across both routes. Sit back and enjoy the scenery or hop on and off the buses as many times as you like.

Please note that the £3 single fare cap is not available on the Peak Sightseer. You can’t travel for free with a Concessions Pass, but you can buy a day ticket for a discounted price with a valid ENCTS card.
Chatsworth ticket holders: Customers with a valid ticket to Chatsworth House or gardens, farmyard and playground can get £5 off a group ticket (for any group of 5 people).
Stagecoach Gold tickets are not valid on the Peak Sightseer, but Gold ticket holders can buy the reduced price day ticket.
* This discounted ticket is also available to Derbyshire or Manchester Wayfarer holders and Gold DayRider or MegaRider ticket holders

Peak Sightseer Red route
The open top bus travels one way in a loop with stops at:
- Chatsworth
- Pilsley for the Chatsworth Estate Farm Shop
- Hassop Station for the Monsal Trail
- Bakewell, Bakewell Road for the town centre
- Ashford in the Water for Ashford Arms
Peak Sightseer Blue route
Buses on the Peak Sightseer Blue route go between Chatsworth House and Blue John Cavern using the same route in both directions. The route has stops at:
- Chatsworth
- Baslow Nether End for Baslow Edge
- Calver Sough
- Grindleford
- Longshaw Lodge for Padley Gorge and the Longshaw Estate.
- Hathersage for Stanage Edge.
- Bamford for Bamford Edge and Ladybower if you’re a keen walker.
- Hope for Lose Hill.
- Castleton for Peveril Castle and Treak Cliff Cavern and Speedwell Cavern.
- Blue John Cavern for Mam Tor
