The Byre and Hayloft

Two independently owned, managed and cherished Peak District Cottages available for your holiday. It's our job to enable you to create great Peak District memories by making your stay with us as easy as possible. Set back from the road, midway between Buxton and Bakewell, the location is perfect for a quiet break "away from it all", yet their central position in the Peak District gives easy access to Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and other attractions. Each cottage has been converted from original farm buildings and have their own unique features from magnificent views to upside-down living. Each cottage sleeps 4 people and is equipped to a high standard including eco friendly underfloor heating, high-speed WiFi and log burners providing the perfect cosy surroundings for your holiday. The cottages are perfect for couples and families and, by taking both cottages, we can accommodate smaller groups too. The price is inclusive of all electricity, gas and water consumed, logs for the wood burning stoves and up to two well-behaved pets. Because we are independent owners there are no booking fees, commissions or other charges.

Choose when you would like to come and how long you would like to stay for (2 nights minimum). We are totally flexible and do not have fixed changeover days.

Please note that cottages are available for 7 days only over the Christmas period.
