In memory of Keith Brisley and his invaluable contribution to researching and documenting Hayfield’s rich history.
This walk takes in some of the fascinating industrial and social development of Hayfield. Starting at the site of the Wood Print Works, we will uncover some notable features, dates and places of Hayfield’s heritage as we walk out to Bowden Bridge then returning to the centre of the village.
This is an easy walk on good paths and will take 1.5 to 2 hours.
