Event
23rd May 2026 - 25th May 2026
High Peak Open Studios 2026
A brand‑new arts event celebrating the incredible creativity of the High Peak
About
23rd May 2026 - 25th May 2026
10:00 am - 4:00 pm
For the first time, artists and makers across the High Peak are opening their doors at 33 venues throughout Buxton, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Whaley Bridge, Chinley, New Mills, Glossop, and Hayfield.
Explore diverse studios, meet the makers, and discover the rich variety of art being created in our hills and towns. From painting and ceramics to textiles, print, photography and more, this is your chance to see behind the scenes, support local artists, and experience the vibrant cultural life of the High Peak.
In addition to the online map, visitors will be able to collect printed maps and trail guides. These will be available at all participating venues as well as at the Pump Room Tourist Information Centre in Buxton. Printed resources will be accessible from the beginning of May.
