Join Mary, a mill worker in 1805, for a light-hearted journey back in time as she shares her experiences of working at the newly built Cotton Spinning North Mill, owned by the Strutt family. Through her words, you’ll hear about everyday mill life, her family, and what it was like to live in Belper in the early nineteenth century.
