About

25th October 2025

Movement in Menopause- Healthy Hike for Women Date – 25th October 2025 Meeting – at 10am in Hartington Village Peak District Distance – around 12km Time– 6 Hours Terrain– Medium hike Via footpaths Hike starts at 10am prompt.

There will be a small group of clients (max 12) for the event. The hike is for women who are going through the peri-menopause/menopause journey and want to join a supportive and fun hiking group. Getting out into nature and moving the body is so positive for the body & mind. Physical activity is so vital for ladies dealing with hormone issues and can help to reduce anxiety, depression, fatigue etc. The circular hike will be a beginner friendly walk around Hartington.

At the end of the walk hopefully we finish with tea and cake in the local café. Full details of the hike and equipment list will be sent out 7 days before the event. The hike is guided by Anne Kemp-Eyre Hill & Moorland Leader. I have been hiking around the Peak District for 40 years and want to share my passion for the great outdoors. I’m a registered nurse (over 30 + years) and still work in occupational health and have a special interest in mental health & women’s health.
