Pottery Techniques with Anthony Dix at Hardwick Hall
Anthony will demonstrate pottery techniques and talk about his journey as a potter
About
1st June 2025
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Anthony Dix, respected member of the Craft Potters Association, will be demonstrating his techniques and talking about his pottery journey.
His work is a mix of thrown and altered pots which are made for use to grace the table and the kitchen to create conversation and to give pleasure in use. He is inspired by utilitarian architecture and all things made for use from oil cans to machines, and spiral forms inspired by spirals in nature.
His work is soda fired in a small kiln to obtain intense soda surfaces.
