This ancient custom is unique to Derbyshire and is the art of decorating springs and wells with pictures made from natural materials.

The Whitfield Well Dressing starts on Saturday 20th September with a parade from Whitfield Ave at 12pm to the well where the blessing is then held.
A free family fun day is held on Whitfield Rec 1-4pm.
