Magic Returns to the Peak District! Harry Potter fans of all ages gather in the Peak District town of Wirksworth

Wands at the ready! Wizarding Day returns on Sunday 5th October for a day of magical activities.
Building on the success of previous years, the day has become the largest Harry Potter fan event in the UK. Adults and children descend on the town dressed as their favourite characters to enjoy themed food and activities and to meet other fans. There will be plenty of favourite events including the Wizard Express, owls, snakes, wand making, character costume contest, quidditch, storytelling, Beedle the Bard, Owlchemy creative writing, the London bus, magicians, magical markets, dragon egg trail, unicorns and much, much more.
As well as a day of fun, the event raises funds for good causes. Wizarding Day has raised a grand total of £8,000 for Wirksworth Colts Football Club, the Josh Stockell Community Skatepark, the Fire Fighters Charity and Aquabox who make clean water filters for disaster areas.
