Bluebells Easter Eggventure
Easter is an eggcellent time to enjoy fun on the farm at Bluebells, Spondon. Take part in Dorcus the Chicken’s Easter Egg Hunt (1st-10th April 2023), follow the spring bunny trail, do some carrot seed planting, get competitive with egg and spoon races, and enjoy Bluebells favourites like the Sheep Race and Cuddle Corner. Plus, don’t miss the chance to meet the baby lambs and sample Bluebells’ award-winning ice-cream flavours too!

Easter at Matlock Farm Park
There's jam-packed fun at Matlock Farm Park this Easter (1st-16th April). Meet the cade lambs, get up close, hear all about how they are cared for and watch them being bottle fed! Join in with daily Easter Treasure trails, sheep racing, alpaca mini-walks, wallaby encounters, ferret racing, small animal petting, meerkat talks and more! Plus, over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend (7th-10th April), don’t miss fantastic events including the Snow Sisters, a Jurassic Fun Day and the BIG Bubbleman.

Easter in the farmyard at Chatsworth
There is so much to see and do in the Chatsworth farmyard and playground throughout the Easter school holidays from 1st-16th April 2023. Activities taking place daily include spring-themed crafts in the Oak Barn, animal handling, animal feeding, tractor and trailer rides, and Easter egg hunts.

Witch's Garden: Folklore & Potions at Chatsworth
From 4th-12th April, there'll be lots of fun for the family in the Chatsworth Kitchen Garden. Discover which plants were used through the ages for spells and magic, before creating their own potion. Explore the Kitchen and Cutting Garden and discover which plants have been used through the ages for spells and magic. Children will be able to pick some ingredients to create their very own potion, before casting a 'magic spell' by the wishing tree.

Easter Eggstravaganza at The National Forest Adventure Farm
Come on down for some Easter fun at the National Forest Adventure Farm at Tatenhill, near Burton (1st-14th April 2023). Follow the woodland trail to meet the Easter Bunny and take part in brand new activities such as sand art, Easter shortbread decorating and egg-citing magic shows for all the family.

Easter Adventures at Conkers
This Easter, Conkers at Ashby-de-la-Zouch has a range of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Discover a range of family-friendly craft and ranger-led activities, amphitheatre shows, the Conkachoo train and a 4D cinema! Every day in Easter, the hunt begins to find our Golden Egg, hidden somewhere new each morning by our very own Easter Bunny for one lucky family to find. Will it be you?

Easter at the National Stone Centre
The National Stone Centre near Wirksworth will be hosting a range of family activities on Saturday 8th April 2023. Activities include an Easter Egg Hunt throughout the site, Easter-themed arts and crafts, and a 'count the mini eggs in a jar' competition. No bookings in advance or tickets are required to attend any of the activities.

Easter Weekend at Heights of Abraham
Over the Easter Weekend (7th-10th April 2023), there'll be lots of fun at the Heights of Abraham, Matlock Bath. Take part in a classic Easter Egg Hunt or sit back and relax to some musical performances on the Pergola stage. All attractions and tours will be operating throughout the Easter period including the much-loved cable car flights, cavern tours, exhibitions and adventure playground.

National Trust Easter Egg Hunts: Calke, Hardwick and Kedleston
You can enjoy Easter trails at many of the National Trust's beautiful properties across Derbyshire from 1st-16th April 2023. Head on the Easter egg hunts at Kedleston Hall near Derby, Hardwick Hall near Chesterfield and at Calke Abbey near Derby, where there's a choice of two Easter trails to pick from. If you're feeling adventurous, head out on the trail around the parkland and Calke Explore. For those with little legs, take the shorter route around the Pleasure Grounds and Stableyards.

Peak Wildlife Park
There’s a host of egg-cellent fun over the Easter school holidays at Peak Wildlife Park near Leek, including the Easter Egg Trail, daily talk times and feed, competitions and eggstra-ordinary giveaways.

Easter Specials at Midland Railway, Butterley
Hop on board the special Butterley Easter Train 7th-10th April at Butterley Station and have an eggcellent time! Dismount at Swanwick Junction to have fun hopping around following the Easter Egg Trail. Look out for the Easter Bunny too!

Easter Escapades at Bolsover Castle
Join performers at Bolsover Castle for four days of Easter fun from 7th-10th April 2023. There’ll be plenty of opportunity for the whole family to get involved in traditional games, activities and races, along with storytelling sessions throughout the day. You can also take part in an egg-stra special Easter Adventure Quest. Book online and save 10%.

Leek and Rudyard Railway
Enjoy Easter Egg Specials from 7th-10th April on the charming railway Leek & Rudyard Railway in the Staffordshire Peak District. A free small egg or sweets for all children is included with every return fare.

Rapunzel: Winding Wheel Easter Pantomime
Nothing says family fun like an Easter pantomime. On Tuesday 4th April 2023, join your favourites Wally, Dame Dolly and Fairy Tale as they embark on a quest to break an enchantment that keeps Rapunzel locked away in her tower. This brand new hair-larious Easter pantomime at Chesterfield's Winding Wheel Theatre includes a star-studded cast with Strictly Come Dancing's Joanne Clifton as Rapunzel, Atomic Kitten's Kerry Katona as Mother Gothel, Eastenders' Dean Gaffney as the Prince and Britain's Got Talent's Jamie and Chuck as the Court Jesters.

Easter at the Tropical Butterfly House
Get ready for some egg-stra special Easter fun throughout the school holidays at the Tropical Butterfly House (1st-16th April 2023). Can you find all the friendly farm Easter Buddies hop, skipping and jumping around the park to claim your sweet treat reward?
Spring is the perfect time to get outdoors and conquer the Realms of Camelot adventure playground with its slides, tunnels and tower or enjoy ride-on tractors, a zip-wire, air cannons, wet play fun and sandpits. There are also free keeper talks throughout the day about otters, meerkats, wallabies and giant tortoises as well as the chance to meet the amazing armadillo pair.

1940s Britain on the Homefront at Crich Tramway Village
Step back to 1940s Britain on the Homefront at Crich Tramway Village near Matlock from 9th-10th April 2023, with live entertainment from the 1940s and a range of nostalgic events. There will be a children’s boot camp/drill for those brave enough to face Sergeant Major Marmite plus ‘Winston Churchill’ making rallying speeches! Re-enactors will also be mingling with visitors and there will be group displays on Woodland Walk.

Creswell Crags Rock Art Scavenger Hunt
Head to the home of Britain’s earliest Ice Age cave art and enjoy the Annual Easter Egg Trail throughout April at Creswell Crags, this year with a rock art theme, and claim your chocolate Easter egg prize at the end! Eight eggs are hidden around the Crags as if by an Ice Age Hunter, and each has a clue as to where the next egg is hidden. Follow the clues and collect the words on the boards to claim your prize. Can you solve the clues and find them all?

Ecclesbourne Valley Railway: Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
Hop, hop, hop on board for a breakfast train on the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway with an Easter twist on Saturday 6th April 2023! Enjoy a delicious Full English Breakfast with appearances from the Easter Bunny who has chocolate treats and loves selfies, then enjoy a scenic steam train journey from Wirksworth to Duffield.

Easter Monday at Great British Car Journey
Calling all classic car enthusiasts! Don’t miss the Great British Car Meet on Easter Monday, 10th April 2023 at Great British Car Journey near Belper. All makes and models welcome – including classic cars, vintage cars or modern cars with their owners! Entrance to the Great British Car Meet is £5 per car and is redeemable against entry on the day or a future visit to Great British Car Journey or Membership of Great British Car Club. The Club now has more than 750 members and a full programme of Club events.

Markeaton Park Easter Egg Hunt
Can you find all six Easter Eggs hidden around the park? Enjoy fun in the fresh air at Markeaton Park near Derby and join in with their Easter egg hunt from 1st-16th April 2023! Write in all the animals you have found on the Easter Egg Hunt, then the six animal names onto the online Free Prize entry form. All correct entries will be entered into a prize draw to win Mundy Play Centre vouchers!
