Discover the Mad Hatter's Tea Party at the Churnet Valley Railway this Easter and immerse yourself in Lewis Carroll's beloved book series. Encounter the Queen of Hearts, Tweedle-Dee, Tweedle-Dum, the Mad Hatter, and more. Enjoy a unique Alice in Wonderland Afternoon Tea experience, complete with entertainment, meet and greet opportunities, and photos with Wonderland's inhabitants. Pre booking essential.

Springtime fun at Matlock Farm Park
5th – 21st April

Throughout the Easter holidays, visitors can enjoy daily 'Meet the Cade Lambs' sessions to learn more about their needs, get up close and watch them being fed. With piglets to see, as well lambs being born in the ‘Sheep maternity ward’, Spring is definitely in the air! The Bank Holiday Easter weekend will see the farm park’s popular Easter Egg Hunts and exciting 'Find the Golden Egg' feature - who will find it and claim their super prize?

Easter Adventure Quest at Bolsover Castle
5th - 27th April

Crack the clues hidden around the grounds and enjoy a delicious chocolate reward! You can take on the quest every day of the school holidays, and it costs just £2 to take part. This is for each child, whether you’re a member or not, and it’s on top of the ticket price.

An egg-citing adventure! The Easter Bunny has hidden a trail of eggs around Stone's Island! Collect your trail map from Reception, £4 per child, once you’ve completed the trail and claim your special prize.

A Sense of Spring Adventure at Ilam Park
5th to 22nd April

Hop on down to Ilam Park for an Easter adventure like no other! Our sensory Easter trail is bursting with spring surprises. The trail costs £3.50 per child and includes the trail activities, pencil, bunny ears, activity leaflet to take home and a chocolate egg, or vegan and free from chocolate egg. Both eggs are made using Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa.

Follow the Bakewell Bunny Trail
5th – 22nd April

The Easter Bunny is loose and hiding all around Bakewell. Download a trail map and head to the businesses and look for bunny posters ion the windows. Each one has an egg with a hidden letter, collect all the letters, solve the puzzle and claim your prize at The Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop.
