Looking for affordable BIG family adventures this summer? Thanks to the Great British Summer Savings scheme, getting around the Peak District and Derbyshire has never been easier – or better value.
Throughout August, children under 16 can travel FREE on most local services* operated by High Peak Buses, Trent Barton & Stagecoach. It's the perfect opportunity to swap the car for the bus and discover some of the region's incredible attractions, picturesque towns and beautiful countryside while keeping costs down.

Whether you're planning a family walk, exploring a historic market town, enjoying a picnic in one of Derbyshire's parks or visiting one of the area's fantastic attractions, travelling by bus lets you relax and enjoy the journey together.
Many of the region's most popular destinations are easily accessible by bus, including:
- Buxton's elegant Georgian architecture and beautiful Pavilion Gardens
- Matlock Bath and its riverside attractions
