    Discover Poole’s Cavern, Buxton’s Hidden Wonder.

    Take a journey beneath the earth and uncover the amazing stories of the underground landscape of the Peak District. Discover cathedral sized chambers once inhabited by Stone age settlers, the underground Derbyshire River Wye which carved these natural galleries for millenia and magnificant crystal stalactites growing over thousands of years.

    Explore with a guide, or at your own pace with our Audio App Tour, new for 2026! 

    Back above ground explore the beautiful country park woodlands and complete the brand-new for 2026 - Thomas's Trail, included with your cavern ticket!

    Or you could complete your day with a walk up to Solomon’s Temple viewpoint with superb views of the Peak District. For a more extreme experience, try GO APE high wire tree top adventure.

    Grin Low Country Park - Explore beautiful woodland trails leading to Solomon's Temple and panoramic Peak District views. Poole's Cavern Cafe Open daily with home made daily specials, all day breakfasts soups snacks and yummy cakes made with locally sourced produce.

    Dog-friendly tours

    All our standard tours are now Dog-Friendly. Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome on all standard tours. Dog Tickets cost £1. Please note dogs may not be permitted on special events. Please pre-book your tickets Our Visitor Centre & Cafe is dog-friendly and on-site we have a 100 acre woodland, rich in woodland walks for you and your pooch to enjoy. Pick up a free map from our Visitor Centre.
