Cafe Adventure

Cafe Adventure is a small, family-run, friendly, welcoming and cosy little cafe.

We are here to cater for your adventures with morning coffees and hearty breakfasts to set you up for the day! Remember to plot us on your route map, we’re your rest and refuel stop for long days of hiking and biking in the Peak District. Muddy boots and paws are very welcome!

We have plenty of bike racks, bike locks, a track pump and free water bottle refills. We have route maps and adventure books to browse and inspire you in our Bothy room. There’s also a kids corner with toy kitchen, puzzles, books and colouring (kids menu also), and a book swap box for avid readers. In our main dining room and retail area we showcase local artwork, photography, cards and gifts.

Alongside cafe life we organise adventure social clubs, mainly mountain bike rides and family friendly hikes. After 10 years (and counting), we have created a thriving community hub for outdoor enthusiasts!

We have a broad menu including breakfasts, sandwiches, paninis, daily specials and our adventurer’s menu (with our popular Croque Madams and Biker’s Burgers!). Plus, a full range of hot and cold drinks, homemade cakes and gelato ice cream!

Our two passions in life are good food and the great outdoors. We are proud to have created a cafe which reflects this and invite you to come in for a taste of adventure!
