About
"Nothing short of breathtaking. Everything was thought of and we had the best time ever. Absolutely beautiful place with beautiful scenery." The Gathering opened in 2016 and has been 5* rated on Tripadvisor ever since. Located at the top of Edale valley on a private farm, yet with open access on all sides to moorland and pasture.
Relax into amazing tented safari lodges with hot baths, proper beds with Hypnos mattresses, soft cotton linen under warm duvets, and a log stove to cook on and gather round on cold evenings. Each of the four tents can sleep up to 6 in a double room and two twins. Everything is provided so you just need to bring food and clothing, or order local produce online through our partner saucedhere.co.uk.
We are only 200 yards from The Nags Head in Edale, the official start of the Pennine Way. Over the hill are the Blue John caves of Castleton, and behind us is the moorland plateau of Kinder Scout. Within a half hour are Chatsworth and Haddon Hall in all their glory.
At the end of a full day, relax on our sunset verandahs in front of your tent, with Weber barbecues and firebowls. The village also boasts 2 pubs and 2 cafes.
For a gathering of family and friends, use the Shooting Lodge for a feast and a party for up to 34 people, with large hall, bar, kitchen and dining room.
Roam far, gather near. We look forward to welcoming you.
