    Discover the wonderful High Peak Trail with excellent cycle hire from Middleton Top Visitor Centre. 17.5 miles of traffic free trail to enjoy and a range of bikes for all the family. You’ll pass through some of Derbyshire's finest countryside, with fascinating heritage along the route, following the line of the former Cromford and High Peak Railway.Middleton Top Cycle Hire and Visitor Centre near Wirksworth, offers easy access onto the High Peak Trail and amazing views of the surrounding countryside. You can enjoy a short ride or a longer more challenging outing. Running from High Peak Junction, near Cromford, to Dowlow, 6 miles south of Buxton, the High Peak Trail connects with the Tissington Trail and Carsington Water.Quality cycle hire at competitive prices, with bikes for adults and children, plus tandams, tag-a-longs, buggies and electric bikes for extra pedal power. Child seats and helmets are included. Open weekends and school holidays from February to November and every day June, July and August, our experienced staff are here to help. The Visitor Centre offers a wonderful selection of light refreshments, maps and guides, with ample parking, toilets and a picnic area.Visit our website for more information and seasonal offers.
