This ancient custom is unique to Derbyshire and is the art of decorating springs and wells with pictures made from natural materials.
The Blessing of the wells service at Taddington takes place on August 17, 10:00a.m. (Blackwell), 11:30a.m. (Taddington)
Wells in the Making: August 12 to 16, various times in the marquee in the churchyard at Taddington.
