Beech Croft farm is a small, rural, friendly, family-run caravan and camping site located between Buxton & Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District National Park - situated by the Pennine Bridleway.
About
A warm & friendly welcome awaits you from Julie & John Gregory and their daughter Jodie.
Welcoming touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, there are pitches to suit all.
It is right in the heart of the Peak District National Park, between Buxton and Bakewell and makes an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Heights of Abraham and The Caverns in Castleton to name a few.
The caravan & camping park is beautifully situated nestling in a sheltered meadow with stunning views of the rolling Derbyshire hills, a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax.
Our shop & reception sells basic provisions, soft drinks, ice creams, Calor & Camping Gaz. We also now sell local produce including beers & wines.
New in late 2021, Daisies Coffee Shop, an onsite café, serving delicious breakfasts, lunches, coffees and cakes. With plans to do themed/pizza evenings through the busy season.
The Park has a Campers Cabin with a microwave & hot drinks vending machine
There are walks in abundance right from the park entrance including the Monsal Trail, Pennine Bridleway and the Limestone Way.
Dogs are welcome, and we have a dog exercise area & a dog & boot wash.
If you don't want to break off from the outside world, Wi-Fi is available throughout, free of charge. The Park has an underfloor heated toilet & Shower block split into three areas, Men’s, Ladies and Unisex. There are hairdryer sockets in the ladies & Electric shaver points in the gents.
Hard standing pitches are open all year round & all come with 16amp electric hook up, water tap & TV aerial Socket
All of the grass pitches have access to 10-amp electric hook up, this means they are available to anyone that wishes to use them using a prepayment card purchased from Reception.
The family have spent money and worked hard to ensure they could get the 'Good to Go' Covid certificate, and added extra cleaning to their already stringent cleaning regimes, so you can visit during these strange times feeling rest assured that the family are doing all they can to keep you safe
