This year the festival is back with more live music than ever before, including our brand-new Grass Roots Stage, shining a spotlight on the freshest up-and-coming artists and musicians. That’s right – three epic stages packed with local talent, bands, and performers ready to blow you away! Expect the Unexpected!

All weekend, the park will be buzzing with interactive performances and walkabout wonders; from a thrilling Wild West Stunt Show to a dazzling Variety Spectacular, plus a hilarious one-man comedy show and so much more. You never know what you’ll stumble upon next! Get Creative! Join in with free art activities led by the amazing Melbourne Artists and don’t miss Art Under the Trees with People Express and Derbyshire Makes artists – perfect for all ages to unleash their inner artist. Family Fun Galore!

The funfair returns with exciting rides and classic games. The inflatable fun zone offers all the bouncing fun and don’t miss the delightful All aboard mini train - guaranteed to keep the smiles going all day long! Foodies, Rejoice! Tuck into a feast of flavours with everything from Greek street food and wood-fired pizzas to yummy homemade cakes and sweet treats. And yes – the licensed bar is back too, so you can sip and chill while soaking up the vibes.

he South Derbyshire Festival of Leisure takes place in Maurice Lea Memorial Park, Church Gresley, on Saturday 21 June and Sunday 22 June from 11.30am to 5pm each day. Entry and car parking are completely free of charge.
