Hopton Hall Snowdrop Gardens

Welcome the early signs of spring at Hopton Hall! 

February is a truly special time at Hopton as the grounds of our Grade II listed hall are blanketed by a stunning sea of snowdrops.

The 1.25-mile arrowed Snowdrop Walk initially winds through naturally stunning woodland, carpeted with single-petalled and double-blossomed snowdrops. You will pass the old kennels – once home to the Hall’s greyhounds – and the cemetery devoted to the memory of the Estate’s dogs, ponies and horses. Next on to the architectural marvel that is the Crinkle Crankle Wall, and to our 11-metre-high summerhouse and extensive walled garden.

A meander around the wildlife lake, past birch avenue and through the laburnum tunnel brings you to the end of the walk where sweeping views of fields and our fully heated café await.

Whether you are a keen gardener, photographer or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of nature, this is the perfect opportunity to spend time outdoors.
