Longnor Open Gardens

An opportunity to experience the lovely gardens in Longnor Village and admire the stunning scenery that surrounds it.

About

15th June 2025 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

There has never been a better time to visit the Staffordshire Moorland’s village of Longnor: with its cobbled marketplace, quaint old buildings, magnificent scenery and walks and welcoming shops and pub. The gardeners of this lovely village have been planting, weeding and pruning to get their gardens ready for you to enjoy on Sunday the 15th of June from 10.00 a.m. until 16.00. Starting from the wonderful old church of St Bartholomew, you will be able to get a location map (£3 per person, under 16’s FREE) with details of the fifteen gardens, all but one of which are within the village. This year, there will be a temporary art exhibition at the bus stop, music and potted floral displays around the village. Refreshments, to include a slice of home-made cake, will be available at the church whilst the gardens are open. There will also be a raffle, tombola and plants for sale. All proceeds will be split between Flash and Longnor First responders and St Bartholomew’s church. For more details visit our Facebook page Longnor Action Group or call Colin on 07368 820442.
