Experience the 1940s with an evacuation via tram, make a gas mask, learn to dance 1940s style and listen to the sound of a Battle of Britain Merlin engine, courtesy of Hucknall Flight Test Museum.
Live music on the bandstand from The Mat Pack swing band and Tripliquette, and enjoy a World War II singalong in the Red Lion, ending the day with a VE Day finale.
