Mount Famine & South Head 8km walk - Women Only

Join Peak Outdoor Coaching and enjoy some of the best scenery in the Peak District! With two Ethels to bag, this moderate 8km loop has some incredible views of Kinder Scout.

    About

    23rd September 2024 10:00 am - 1:30 pm

This walk takes us up and over two 'Ethels' (hills in the Peak District over 400m) and, in my opinion, rewards us with some of the best views in the Dark Peak.

An 8km loop with around 450m of elevation on mixed terrain but mostly footpaths and trails with some gradual hills to climb. This walk is classed as moderate and suitable for most but some hill walking experience would be preferable.

Dogs are welcome, but may need to stay on lead for some of the walk.

Roadside parking is free and there are toilets.

£10 per person (plus Eventbrite fee of £1.55)
