    Well Dressings are works of art created by hand using natural materials such as petals and seeds by groups of dedicated volunteers.

    This ancient custom is unique to Derbyshire and is the art of decorating springs and wells with pictures made from natural materials.

    Jubilee Fountain Well Dressing at the Jubilee Fountain, at the junction of Broadway and The Green (B6016)


    In 2024, there were three:

    1. Jubilee Fountain Well Dressing at the Jubilee Fountain, at the junction of Broadway and The Green (B6016)

    The railings in front of the fountain are removed for the dressing to be put in place on the first day of the event. For the rest of the week, the railings are back in place, which may make photography difficult.

    Swanwick is located at the junction of the B6179 and the B6016 roads about 1.5km south of the A38 at Alfreton.
