The special discounted entry price includes full access to the Great British Car Journey interactive museum, cafe and facilities.
Every Morris MG Riley and Wolseley car will also receive a commemorative metal plaque on the day, plus the chance to take part in our themed Great British Masters of the Marque awards in association with Wera Tools. All entrants will have the chance to win a glass trophy or Wera Tools sets.
To book your car in, message us here with your car registration number or, if you are a car club interested in attending, please email oliver@greatbritishcarjourney.com.
Members of the Morris Minor Club will also be in attendance.
- Along with the Morris MG Riley and Wolseley and other exciting classic cars that will be on show in the car park you can also enjoy the display of over 150 British Classic Cars in the Museum too. We have a great selection of Morris Minors in the collection including a wonderful early convertible from 1950 and the last Minor ever made kindly on loan from the Morris Minor Owners Club as well as two ‘Minor Millions’.
- The Filling Station Cafe will be open as usual serving great coffee, drinks and snacks.
For more details please see our Morris Minor Day blog post here.
Please note we cannot guarantee exact timings, car numbers or club attendance as this may be subject to last minute change.
The Morris Minor is one of our “Hero” cars and made its debut at the British Motor Show at Earls Court in October 1948 . The Minor is central to the story of the Great British Car Journey being the best selling and most loved next generation of true family transport after the war and taking over the mantle from the Austin 7.
Although Morris himself was no great fan of the Minor, it is a landmark vehicle in the history of Great British Cars with more than 1.7 million being built between 1948 and 1971.
Hopefully 8th June will be a lovely Summer day and we would like to assemble as many Morris Minors as possible to celebrate this marvellous little car.
