Tissington Craft Fair
Independently run and carefully curated to focus on the core values of a traditional artisan market.
About
26th October 2024 - 27th October 2024
10:30 am - 4:00 pm
At each Tissington Craft Fair you will be introduced to a variety of talented designers, makers and artists and their unique range of products.
No two markets are ever the same and stalls can include everything from weaving and needle felting to ceramics and printmaking with the focus firmly on handcrafted products.
Only 3.5 miles from Ashbourne, Tissington is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing day out. Not only will you discover a number of independent small businesses within the village but you can also make a day of it by enjoying a longer walk or ride along the Tissington Trail.
Tissington Hall, built in the 17th century, is only a couple of minutes walk down the lane from our venue and is still home to the FitzHerbert family, who privately own the Tissington Estate.
Each market takes place in Tissington Village Hall, which is located opposite the village duck pond. The historic building has been given a fresh, modern update inside and you will find the craft fairs here regularly between April and October. The building benefits from a Wi-Fi connection, which means that many of our stallholders can easily accept card payments.
There is free entry for visitors to all of our markets and dogs are more than welcome to meet our makers too!
Although you will see steps up to the main entrance, alternative access is available for wheelchair users and those with restricted mobility upon request. Disabled toilet facilities are also available.
Please see the events calendar on our website for a full list of the artisan makers exhibiting at each of our markets.
If you are interested in becoming one of our stallholders or would like further details, please fill in the “Stallholder Applications” form via our website.
