This ancient custom is unique to Derbyshire and is the art of decorating springs and wells with pictures made from natural materials.

Waingroves Well Dressing will take place at Waingroves Methodist Church.
The dedication will be on Saturday May10th at 11::00am. Refreshments will be available after the service.
Well in the making can be viewed from 10:30am to 4:00pm on Wednesday and Thursday- 7 & 8th of May at The Methodist Church.
Waingroves is located about 1km south of the A610 Ripley to Nottingham road between Ripley and Codnor, about 1km west of the A6007 between Codnor and Heanor, and about 1.5km east of the B6179 Ripley to Derby road.
