Crowden - Camping & Caravanning Club Site
In a remote location at the northern end of the Peak District National Park, Crowden is a walker’s paradise and this charming campsite boasts gorgeous scenery all around. From the site, hikers can enjoy a gentle stroll along footpaths or stride out on a stretch of the long-distance Pennine Way. Howden and Ladybower Reservoirs, which offer amazing vistas, are also just a stone’s throw away. Wildlife-watchers will find plenty to keep them entertained: you might even spot falcons, eagles and red kites!

Hayfield – Camping and Caravanning Club Site
At the foot of the Dark Peak area of the Peak District National Park, Hayfield is the starting point of some of the area's most stunning walks, where you can enjoy anything from a gentle stroll to a more challenging climb.
If you prefer the former, the village of Hayfield (the backdrop for the BBC’s TV drama The Village) is a 15-minute stream-side stroll away. For the latter, a walk up Lantern Pike rewards you with a 360 vista over seven counties. The walk up Kinder Scout from the west side is one of the most popular routes in the Peak District.
Afterwards, catch your breath and soak up the views from the site itself, where on-site facilities include a family/accessible washroom, drying facilities, children’s play area and a well-stocked site shop.

Bakewell – Camping and Caravanning Club Site
If you’re looking for relaxation and rewarding views, paired with great walking and cycling routes straight from the doorstep, this idyllic site in Youlgreave ticks all the boxes. On the outskirts of the popular market town known as the ‘ancient capital of the Peak District’, the well-maintained site features 100 spacious pitches. Offering a true 'back to nature' camping experience, the minimum facilities are part of its appeal and the site enjoys a peaceful setting with attractive countryside views.

Beech Croft Farm Caravan and Camp Site, Buxton
Between Buxton and Bakewell, this charming site occupies a glorious spot in the tiny hamlet of Blackwell in the Peak. The Monsal Trail - with its newly-opened tunnels and cycle hire facilities - is just ¾ of a mile along the Pennine Bridleway from the entrance. The views from the Monsal Viaduct are some of the most famous in the area.
