The Merchant’s Yard Restaurant & Rooms

Since opening in late 2015, and establishing itself as an award-winning restaurant, The Merchant’s Yard is now delighted to be able to offer guests the opportunity to stay in boutique rooms, sympathetically created as a natural extension to this much-loved restaurant, ideally located in the heart of the spectacular Peak District National Park.

Guests can enjoy not only the stunning landscapes, but also a host of fantastic attractions on the doorstep, including Chatsworth House, Buxton Opera House, and many National Trust estates. There is no shortage of places to explore, with beautiful walking routes on the doorstep and countless picturesque villages in easy reach, as well as the spa town of Buxton and market towns of Ashbourne and Bakewell.

The beautifully appointed rooms are equipped with king size beds with Egyptian cotton sheets, tea & coffee making facilities, 55’’ smart TV and mini fridge for guest use, as well as dedicated complimentary car parking space for your stay. Your stay at The Merchant’s Yard also includes a wide selection from our breakfast menu.

Our modern and spacious rooms can accommodate up to two adults and two children (up to twelve years) and we also offer interconnecting rooms. Our newly opened deluxe and superior deluxe rooms offer a little extra luxury and space should guests desire it and our superior deluxe has the benefit of a snug area with a double sofa bed, lending itself perfectly for a family break.
