Well Dressing is a Derbyshire tradition where communities create floral mosaics around wells, blending art & nature to celebrate water, & heritage.

Usually there are 2 wells-
1. St Michael’s Church Well Dressing in the churchyard of St Michael’s Church
2. High Well at top of hill overlooking the village (about 0.8km); from the gateway of St Michael’s Church, take the footpath on the opposite side of the road and a little to the right, then follow the signs
Taddington is located just off the A6 between Bakewell and Buxton.
