Great local bus routes
- Stagecoach Gold X17 extended to Matlock Bath and Wirksworth
The Stagecoach Gold X17 from Sheffield and Chesterfield has been extended to Matlock Bath, Cromford and Wirksworth.
- Sheffield and Chesterfield to Matlock Bath – now up to every 30 mins.
- Stopping at Matlock Bath, Cromford and Wirksworth – hourly, 7 days a week.
- Now Stops at Matlock Farm Park four times a day, 7 days a week. - - Still only £2 single fare until 31st December 2024. View the new X17 timetable.
- Trentbarton SIXES
- The Trentbarton Sixes bus covers some of Derbyshire's most popular and picturesque towns and villages. The services runs every 15 minutes from Derby to Belper, with the 6.1 service continuing each hour onwards to Wirksworth, Matlock Bath, Matlock and Bakewell. View the Sixes timetable.
- You can catch the Little 6 at Wirksworth or Matlock to connect to the village of Middleton by Wirksworth, alight at Rise End in Middleton for the short walk up to Middleton Top and the High Peak trail. - New extended Peak Sightseer open top bus tour
The Peak Sightseer, operated by Stagecoach, runs open top buses daily until 6 Oct 2024, then weekends only until 26 Oct 2024.
New for this season, there are two Peak Sightseer routes - Red route and Blue route, so you can see even more of the Peak District National Park from an open top bus!
Visit some of the Peak District’s most popular destinations with stops including Castleton, Chatsworth, Bakewell, Bamford, Padley Gorge, Hathersage, the Monsal Trail and more.
With a day ticket you are free to hop on and hop off the loop as many times as you would like.
